We trace a beautiful route between the wonderful cities of Leon, Salamanca and Caceres to Seville. With a long and fascinating history, Seville is a blend of Spanish, Islamic and Moorish architecture and culture. Our tour incorporates the famous Feria de Abril in Seville, during which the city is taken over by the festival. We also visit Cordoba, the historic capital of Muslim Spain and Ronda, an old Roman city, and home to the world-famous Ronda Road.

You will spend four days on a journey around Normandy and the beaches that were the scene of this seminal battle of WWII. Staying in remote mountain hotels, Paradors and a Quinta on the banks of the Douro the destinations are great, but the riding to get there is even better! A huge hit on its introduction this tour sold out in 2017 and one date for 2018 is already sold out as well!

You’ll be meandering along fantastic motorcycling roads between overnight stops in Angers, Orleans and Chartres, where you will enjoy one of the true highlights of this short tour. The annual tradition of Chartres en Lumières is a delightful blend of old and new, with the 800-year-old UNESCO- listed Chartres Cathedral being lit up by over 300,000 watts of illumination in a dazzling and dynamic light show which brings it to vivid life.

Staying in fishing villages, old fortified towns and close to the beaches this tour combines great riding, stunning locations and the warmth of the Mediterranean Islands.

Battlefields: Verdun

Over 100 years have passed since the Battle of Verdun, the longest single battle of World War One. In 300 days 800,000 men lost their lives as the battle rocked back and forth over just five miles. In the end Germany withdrew from the battle as they could no longer sustain the losses. Perhaps Verdun as much as any WW1 battle shows how clearly this was a war of attrition. Our tour will respectfully visit the scenes of so much sacrifice and bravery. We will spend two days focussing on Verdun and the third on the Argonne accompanied by the noted historian Martin Peglar.

Lakes and Mountains: Italy is an easier paced tour but it is still packed with great riding. You start with a couple of longer days as our route heads first to Switzerland and Lake Lausanne. The Simplon Pass, once a smugglers route takes you up over 2,000m as you cross from Switzerland to Italy en route to Lake Maggiore. Then two nights on Lake Como are followed by two more on Lake Garda. St Moritz, The Black Forest and the Ardennes are all on the route home. Ideal for riders and pillions looking for great mountain riding combined with stunning locations and days to relax.

This rural ‘D-road’ route to the south of France includes the Loire and Champagne regions, before heading up to the famous Route des Grandes Alps and the stunning Col de l’Iseran, the highest paved mountain road in the Alps. With our Gorgeous Gorges tour you can fly into Toulouse to collect your own bike and enjoy a week of great riding. Ride your motorcycle to Northampton and we will then transfer you to Luton, where you pick up your flight to Toulouse. A quick transfer to our hotel near the city and your welcome dinner. Whilst you enjoy a relaxing meal we will transport your bike and riding kit overnight to your hotel in Toulouse where it will be waiting for you the next morning ready for you to ride away before lunch.

Tracing the renowned WWII Dam Busters raid your tour first stops in the Ardennes before heading into the beautiful Ruhr Valley. Two nights spent near Hagan offers the chance to visit two of the dams made famous in Operation Chastise. From here you’ll head further along the Ruhr before a night in the beautiful Schloss Waldeck overlooking the Eder Dam. Another two-night stopover in Rothenburg offers a chance to explore this unspoilt Medieval town, or more riding, before heading towards Baden Baden in the Black Forest and on to our final day in the Ardennes.
