Fresh from the ferry, we arrive on Spain’s northern coast and trace a beautiful route through the Picos Europa and Sierras de Gredas mountains as we head for the wonderful cities of Leon, Salamanca and Caceres en route to Seville. Any-one of our three stops en route would be worthy of being out final destination.  UNESCO Listed Caceres is enchanting and the Plaza Mayor in Salamanca is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful town squares in Spain. With a long and fascinating history, Seville is a blend of Spanish, Islamic and Moorish architecture and culture.

We are here for the Easter Parades and it does not matter what your religion or beliefs are you cannot help but be moved by the spectacle and devotion.   Young men have battled for the honour of being allowed to help carry marble altars weighing many tons through the streets, the devoted are in full dress as Nazareno priests wearing their robes and capirote process through the town. The processions last for hours. Find a nice tapas bar on the route and settle in for this most awe inspiring festival to pass you as you sip a glass of Rioja.

Our route from Seville includes the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the famous Ronda Valley road.   We stop in Ronda for a night a short stroll from the El Taja Canyon that the town teeters upon. Turning back north, we’ll ride deserted roads through stunning scenery, stopping to visit Trujillo, Toledo and Lerma.  The walled city of Toledo sits atop a natural hill and dominates the town sky line. With a long and historic past as an armoury you can still feel this within the city walls, and we are staying within a stones though.

Paradors and 4-star hotels form the majority of our accommodation on tour and so your comfort is ensured.

Your tour includes the crossing from the UK to Santander and back in a two berth inside cabin either on a Shared or Single basis or as a Couple depending on how you book the tour.  If you book Solo Single, or Rider and Passenger, then you can choose to upgrade to a club cabin. These cabins are finished to a higher standard and are "outside" cabins with a window. The exact specification varies according to each boat. We are sailing out on Pont Aven and back on Cap Finistere. Details of the cabins for Pont Aven can be found here and for Cap Finsitere can be found here.

The availability of these cabin upgrades is very limited and so if you chose this option we will check availability with Brittany Ferries and confirm your upgrade shortly after booking.

This upgrade is not available to riders booking Solo Shared, unless you are booking with a friend and you both wish to upgrade.  If so only one of you should chose the upgrade and enter into the booking notes who you are sharing with.
