If you choose to use our bike shipping service then you can fly directly into Berlin where your bike (or a hire bike) will be waiting for you at our hotel. Alternatively if you have the time you can ride in and join us at our Berlin hotel.

Our first night is in the centre of Berlin where we will enjoy a welcome dinner in good company and a relaxing atmosphere. The following morning we ride east into Poland to the edge of the Narodowy Park and then onto Giżycko. Giżycko is truly part of “the land of a thousand lakes”, whose greatest attraction is nature. There are over 100 lakes around the town, providing sailing activities in the summer and iceboating in the winter. From here we head North East into Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia where we will take time out to relax and explore the towns of Riga and Tallinn.

Riga is noted for its Art Nouveau and 19th century wooden architecture and Tallinn's Old Town is one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe and both are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites. But before these two great towns we visit Vilnius, "The Jerusalem of the North" as named by Napoleon as he was passing through in 1812, with its fascinating Jewish history dating back to the 8th century. If you have time visit the Museum of Genocide victims, as well as dealing with the systematic murder of Jews by the Nazis, it studies the brutal treatment of the nation by the Soviets during both the war and subsequent occupation. Housed in the former KGB building across from Lukiškės Square, the museum is in its basement, the prison used by the Russian secret service, as well as the original execution chamber, where bullet holes still scar the walls.

Leaving the Baltic States we cross the Gulf of Finland to the vibrant city of Helsinki, where you have time to take in the sights or just kick back and enjoy a drink and a meal in the Market Square before heading West and a ferry crossing to Stockholm.

Sweden is the seventh country we'll visit and we arrive in Stockholm early in the morning after our overnight ferry. Visit the Royal Palace, Skansen open-air museum or take in gorgeous views from Kaknastornet tower with a full day and night to explore the city. Our second day in Sweden sees us heading South towards Malmo and the Oresund Bridge and Tunnel that takes us into Denmark and the city of Copenhagen. This iconic road sweeps over and under the the Oresund Straights for 7.5 miles, making it the longest road/rail bridge in Europe. Our final day takes us on a short ferry ride back into Germany, to Berlin for a well earned meal at our final hotel in the centre of the city.

This is an action packed fortnight has some long days in the saddle tempered with plenty of time to explore RIga, Tallinn, Helsinki and Berlin.

Motorcycle Shipping

This tour starts and finishes in Berlin. If you are riding your own bike on tour you can either ride to the start or choose to have your bike shipped and fly in to meet it at our hotel.

Why Ship Your Motorcycle?

When touring you want to enjoy the maximum amount of time riding the country or region that you are visiting. That's why we start some tours in destination cities in Europe. This allows us to plan up to two weeks completely immersed in the area the tour focusses on.

Typically riding to the start of these tours will take 3-4 days from the UK, depending where you are based. If you have an extra week to spare this is fine and can be part of the fun. However if you have just a couple of weeks then shipping your bike saves time and allows you to explore new and exciting places.

Shipping your bike will also save you money. If the start point is four days from home then you will need three nights in hotels, a ferry to Holland, fuel for 600+ miles, road tolls, plus bike and tyre wear as well as food. And then you have to do all of this on the way home as well. When you add it up it is cheaper, easier and more relaxing to lets us ship your bike, fly in and arrive at the start of the tour fresh and ready to ride.

Let our bike shipping service take the strain, save you money and allow you to enjoy all of your holiday.

Shipping Service Details

The shipping service is from and to your local BMW Motorrad Centre. The shipping takes 7-10 days before and after the tour. You may ship your helmet(s) only in the panniers of the bike. For the shipping cost please see the prices tab.
